Sharing only the nameplate, the 2024 Sportage morphs into a sleek, contemporary shape with a coupe-like profile. Iconic design cues evolve with a wider, more prominent grille and boomerang-style LED lights. Larger dimensions increase passenger space and cargo capacity. Standard features now include 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails and a power liftgate.
Interior
The modern cabin uses upscale materials with intricate stitching details and ambient lighting. Ergonomics improve through a consolidated dash design with sporty gauges and a high-mounted infotainment screen. Available features such as ventilated front seats, Harman Kardon audio and dual panel moonroofs enhance luxury appeal.

A 2.5L 4-cylinder making 187 HP is standard. Fuel economy reaches 31 city / 37 highway MPG. Opt for the available 277 HP turbocharged 2.0L engine boosting acceleration while still delivering 30 city / 36 highway MPG. New AWD capabilities include settings for snow, mud and sand. Handling feels tighter thanks to a stiffer yet lighter chassis tuned for the next-gen Sportage platform.
Safety
As a 2024 model year vehicle, the latest Sportage introduces additional standard driver assists not seen in its predecessor. Beyond expected systems like FCW/AEB, LDA, BSW, rear cross traffic and smart cruise control, newly available technologies detecting oncoming traffic for left turns and assisting in freeway lane changes propel safety capabilities even further.
Blind-Spot View Monitor
This available feature projects a live feed of the vehicle’s blind spots onto your instrument cluster when you trigger your turn signal. When paired with optional Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, the system is designed to help avoid certain potential collisions by guiding the vehicle in its current lane in a variety of circumstances.
