We are so excited for our 2024 Telluride and are very thankful for Karen’s patience and kindness through the process. It took us over 6 months to figure out what we really wanted and finally make the purchase. Karen was so easy to work with and never made me feel bad for changing my mind no less than 5 times. Tellurides have so many trim levels and Karen knew the ins and outs of each very well. She was quick to respond to my many messages and always let me know if something was coming on the lot that might work for us. At one point my husband was ready to drive to STL, but I was not feeling like dealing with anybody other than Karen. Darah was also great in internet sales! I’ve already told my friends if they’re going to Oakes they need Karen!

We went in for a specific vehicle, didn't love it, and promptly fell in love with another vehicle. Everyone took it in stride, never once made us feel like an inconvenience, and we were in and out as quick as possible. Everyone was kind, efficient, and understanding. We didn't feel like just a "sale" at all. We felt like what we wanted truly mattered, and everyone did their best to get us exactly what we wanted!

I want to thank God for the devine intervention that lead me to Drew D and Nick C at Oakes Kia.  For the past 3 weeks I felt like I was in a nightmare dealing with another dealership. I was lied to, had my credit applications submitted without my knowledge or approval, was offered vehicles with mechanical issues, and that's not even 1/4 of the issues. I will not name the 8 location dealership, but I will say everything about my experience at Oakes was different.   I met Tim first and I mentioned the vehicle I was on the lot looking for and he immediately offered to get it. Tim is not a salesman,  he like Drew and Nick dont recieve a commission. Tim helped me out if the kindness of his heart. I don't remember the name of the gentleman that heard my son ask if he could get in a car on the showroom floor. But he quickly opened the door to let him see inside, he also spoke to my 6 year old everything my son saw him and waived. Never once ignoring him. He was not my sales person. I didn't catch the name of the woman with the beautiful sleeve tattoo that spoke to my son on multiple occasions in the 3 or 4 houra we were there. I highlight those interactions because it made a positive impact on my son. I  sat with my 3 and 6 year old at the nightmare lot for 3 hours and not one person acknowledged me or my kids.   I went to Oakes with my eyes on a 2015 Durango...(if you get it you are lucky that Thang goes. .ok) and left in 2023 Sorento.  I couldn't believe it myself. I hugged the guys so tight. They heard me, they listened, and did their best to get me approved for the durango...but worked out a miracle. I waited for the punked cameras that never came. I went to sleep thinking I was dreaming.  But I went outside this morning and realized it was all real.   Thank you Zach for emailing me... Thank you Drew for making me feel heard and important the moment we met. Thank you for encouraging my son. Thank you for talking to him and identifying with his intellectual gift. Thank you for not giving up. Nick thank you! Thank you for working things out for me beter than I could have imagined.  Thank you for getting me  brand new car..that I can afford. Thank you for creating a deal that will make it effortless to maintain my vehicle.  Thank you Oakes Kia

I was not pleased by either & horrified by my last—I walked out. Then I researched Oakes Kia, looked at stock, called & made an appointment. Glad I did! I was greeted by my sales person, Karen Suarez, walked to her desk & got right to work. Told her I was looking for a new Kai Soul, but they had none in stock. I also told her I'd look at newer used Souls. Karen found two that met my needs & we went for test drives. All during the time we were driving she was feeding me information about newer electronic/tech feature of that model, the difference between the 2 models I chose & learned a bit about each other as time passed. At no time did I feel pressured into a sale (even though I DID want to buy a car that day). Karen was warm, friendly, congenial, and well informed about the cars we drove. SHE KNEW HER STUFF! When it came time to decide & make the purchase & get an out the door cash price—the whole team was on top of it! Unlike "other dealers" Oakes Kia made the process as painless & as quick as possible. No mind games. No bait and switch. No "extras" on the invoice I did not already know about. What a breath of fresh air! Karen got ALL my questions & concerns answered & very quickly too. Once all the paperwork was complete, car paid for, and I was ready to go—Karen was kind enough to follow me to Enterprise rental to drop off my rental. She went that extra (hundred) mile(s). The whole team did. AWESOME! I don't know in all my 66 years I've ever had a MORE pleasant car purchasing experience. And That's not just hyperbole. I wasn't rushed. I was well attended to. I got all questions answered. And I ended up with a car that I was quite please with. A huge thank you to Karen Suarez for be so personable, professional, and such fun to work with! I'd highly recommend Karen, Oakes Kia, and the whole team that took care of me during this incredibly painless & productive process. Thank you ... from one very happy customer!

Cam Mathis is the guy to see here at Oakes. His helpfulness from beginning to end of the process was bar none. It was my first time buying a vehicle remotely and he made the whole process so easy. All I had to do was show up grab my keys and go get some KC BBQ, at a place he recommended as well. The whole team at Oakes seems top notch but Cam is definitely among the best.

Richard Dobbeleare in service took very great care of me. We found out there was a system error with my account but also needed my engine checked. Long story short, I was in a loaner for 40 days while the system error was corrected and received a new engine that fell under warranty. Richard made sure I did not pay a dime for my loaner since the original error was on Kia. While my car was with them, Richard communicated weekly updates with me. Anytime I have to bring my car in for maintenance, I look forward to seeing Richard. His staff is great and working with any one of them is a pleasure!

Working with Bryan was great. He was super personable and made everything super quick and easy! I would 1000% work with Bryan again and recommend anyone I know to work with him! Lyric was very nice and knowledgeable. My only feedback is it felt like meeting with him took forever. We went to another dealership looking for a deal on a car, we were going to go with a telluride (over what we wanted to pay) and then we had a call from a salesman called dominic, he wanted to get us a better deal and found us one that fit perfectly in our regime AND fit our rubric. The finance manager- lyric, had found us a deal on a warranty that had saved us tons of money and kept it right around what we wanted to pay a month. The new car came with a full tank of gas, added features, and it was detailed/cleaned before we were sent home. This place has also helped out our family by helping repair a blown engine on a car under a good warranty. Would recommend, this was a great experience and they managed to do all of this within an hour.

Jonah was great to work with! Made the deal quickly and I was able to get what I wanted. Not as impressed with Chris, though, as he completely changed his attitude towards me when I didn’t purchase the extended warranty. I had told him I was already part of Oakes VIP, that I didn’t want the extended, he went ahead and laid it all out for me, which I appreciated, but in the end I wasn’t going to increase my payment over $100 a month for a glorified GPS and roadside, which I already have. He seemed to become frustrated after declining and he became short and silent. At the beginning of the conversation he seemed to know about my GAP refund from my previous car, but towards the end, he all of a sudden had no information for me. Never had an issue with any other finance personnel there though, as I have been a customer since 2019.

Oakes Kia has been great to work with since I started going there in March 2023. Recently, when my motor went out, Jarrod Bolling contacted Kia a get it replaced. I had to wait a couple of days for a response and Jarrod communicated with me until the decision was made that they would not replace the motor because it was not knocking. Before contacting my extended warranty company, Jarrod requested that the technician do every test on the motor that could be done. He then contacted my extended warranty company. He had to wait for an inspector to get to the shop to look at the motor before it could be approved for replacement. I then had to wait for a decision. In both instances, Jarrod was great at following up with Kia, with the extended warranty company and letting me know what he learned. My car was towed to the shop on January 12 and I got it back January 30. For all of that time Jarrod was in contact with me. There are other instances I could mention where exceptional service was provided, but I think it is evident why I am giving Oakes Kia five stars. It is my opinion that Jarrod went above and beyond his performance as a Service Advisor. I am so happy to have my car back and most of all, I did not have to purchase a new one. For me, that is BIG. Thank you Jarrod and Oakes Kia!!

We worked with Bailey Boggs to purchase my first ever brand new car - a snazzy 2026 Kia Sorento Hybrid. We had visited a couple other dealerships to narrow down our preferred make/model. Oakes Kia had a large inventory that allowed us to mix/match features until we found the right fit. I'm a methodical person who takes time to compare things and process big decisions - so I really appreciated that Bailey never made us feel rushed or pressured. She took the time to explain everything in detail and make sure we were comfortable with our decisions (vehicle, cost, financing options, etc.). She even helped keep my tag-along toddler entertained. You may not get the flashy, luxurious feel that other Kia dealerships may have - but you will get great customer service, professional and polite staff, and honest answers.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. We didn’t have an appointment and when greeted by Travis he inquired as to whom our appointment was with, do we need one we asked and he said nope let’s see what we can do for you. I had done a ton of research and knew what I did and didn’t want. He listened made suggestions and showed us a few different options. We decided on the Sorento. Go see Travis he listens and is very knowledgeable about his inventory and isn’t out to make $$ off of you, he keeps your best interest in mind during your whole visit! Working with Bryan was great. He was super personable and made everything super quick and easy! I would 1000% work with Bryan again and recommend anyone I know to work with him! Lyric was very nice and knowledgeable. My only feedback is it felt like meeting with him took forever. It was already 7pm and I sat in his office for over an hour, which made me get home super late in the evening. I feel like the process definitely could be sped up.

They were not pushy and explained everything well. The only problem I had was doing the closing over the phone. Being sent lots of documents to sign on a small phone screen in a short amount of time was a bit overwhelming for me. All in all, it was a good process.

Easy to deal with, very thorough in explanation of warranties. I would’ve liked to know the price of the warranties before getting to finance, so that I know the price is constant and didn’t go up due to down payment/ negotiation.

We went to another dealership looking for a deal on a car, we were going to go with a telluride (over what we wanted to pay) and then we had a call from a salesman called dominic, he wanted to get us a better deal and found us one that fit perfectly in our regime AND fit our rubric. The finance manager- lyric, had found us a deal on a warranty that had saved us tons of money and kept it right around what we wanted to pay a month. The new car came with a full tank of gas, added features, and it was detailed/cleaned before we were sent home. This place has also helped out our family by helping repair a blown engine on a car under a good warranty. Would recommend, this was a great experience and they managed to do all of this within an hour.

Gage asked and listened to what I needed and to his credit, I only test drove 1 vehicle and that was the one I purchased. Karen helped me by explaining the extended warranty and even let my daughter draw on her iPad with the Apple Pencil. Thank you both for being no pressure and informative!

Jonah was great to work with! Made the deal quickly and I was able to get what I wanted. Not as impressed with Chris, though, as he completely changed his attitude towards me when I didn’t purchase the extended warranty. I had told him I was already part of Oakes VIP, that I didn’t want the extended, he went ahead and laid it all out for me, which I appreciated, but in the end I wasn’t going to increase my payment over $100 a month for a glorified GPS and roadside, which I already have. He seemed to become frustrated after declining and he became short and silent. At the beginning of the conversation he seemed to know about my GAP refund from my previous car, but towards the end, he all of a sudden had no information for me. Never had an issue with any other finance personnel there though, as I have been a customer since 2019.
