Oakes Kia has an incredible team. The team collectively made purchasing a new car a delightful experience. I especially appreciated the time that Austin Seever spent pointing out so many of the features of my new car that I wasn't aware of. He also synchronized my phone to my car and helped me to customize many of the settings. I was especially delighted that my brand new car cost over $1,00.00 less at Oakes than the same car, but one year older with 15,000 miles on it was listed for on Carmax. Great deal and great people!

The whole process was great from start to finish. The only reason we ended up shopping for a car at Oakes was because Melissa reached out in regards to buying our Chrysler Pacifica. She offered us the best deal of anyone in the area. She was very kind on the phone and over text and when we pulled into the dealership she met us in the parking lot to greet us!! Since we were there, we decided to test drive a Kia Carnival. Melissa walked us over to the other lot and found a salesperson for us to work with.
Isabella was also very prompt in getting back to me with information after Melissa had gone for the day!
Taylor was great throughout the whole process. He was knowledgeable and informative about the vehicles we were wanting to test drive.
There were a couple hiccups and some confusion with the vehicle we drove and the vehicle that was “on paper.” Everyone was very transparent about the mix up and we really appreciated Del getting to the bottom of the price difference between the two cars.
The Ramzi in finance was also pleasant to work with and was very personable.
Overall we had a great experience and I can foresee us buying cars from Oakes in the future.

Excellent experience, new car had chips and dings and they were repaired quickly. Chip has been very helpful.
One note is that Missouri requires 2 license plates attached to the car, so cars should come with 2 license plate brackets and they should be installed on all cars before purchase. And not by the sales associate after the paperwork for purchase has been completed. This is not a derogatory comment on Chip, he installed the rear bracket for me, I just don't feel like that should be a sales associate's job.

I purchased a used 2023 Equinox from Oakes Kia last week, and the process was very smooth relative to what I've experienced with other dealerships. My sales person, Michael Rivera, was great start to finish. I started communicating with them via text a few days prior to my visit and was able to work out the pricing terms with them ahead of time. I liked that the price listed on the website was the actual asking price as I found that not to be the case with many other dealerships who tried to force unwanted add-ons onto their prices.
Michael had the vehicle pulled up front and ready when I arrived so we were able to get straight into the test drive when I got there. After that, we were able to get right into the purchase as I did not have to sit for hours trying to negotiate a deal since Oakes lists their best price up front. It was certainly the fastest car purchasing process I've experienced.
I worked with Karen in the finance office to finalize the deal. She was great to work with as well. I had prequalified for financing online, but she was able to get me a slightly better rate than I had expected.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend purchasing a car at Oakes Kia.

I made the drive from Columbia Missouri all the way to north KC to get my new Kia. I had been disappointed with the Kia brand because my local dealer sales and service teams have been disappointing... But what a refreshing surprise it was to work with Oakes Kia and Dom Taibi.
From the get-go I told him my price point. And my family wants and needs. Dom put the work for us and worked for me. Not for a bonus, not for a dealer. For my price point and my needs. His knowledge of the product and the financial tools available to us was fantastic and him and his team came through with a great offer.

We went to another dealership looking for a deal on a car, we were going to go with a telluride (over what we wanted to pay) and then we had a call from a salesman called dominic, he wanted to get us a better deal and found us one that fit perfectly in our regime AND fit our rubric. The finance manager- lyric, had found us a deal on a warranty that had saved us tons of money and kept it right around what we wanted to pay a month. The new car came with a full tank of gas, added features, and it was detailed/cleaned before we were sent home. This place has also helped out our family by helping repair a blown engine on a car under a good warranty. Would recommend, this was a great experience and they managed to do all of this within an hour.

Jonah was great to work with! Made the deal quickly and I was able to get what I wanted. Not as impressed with Chris, though, as he completely changed his attitude towards me when I didn’t purchase the extended warranty. I had told him I was already part of Oakes VIP, that I didn’t want the extended, he went ahead and laid it all out for me, which I appreciated, but in the end I wasn’t going to increase my payment over $100 a month for a glorified GPS and roadside, which I already have. He seemed to become frustrated after declining and he became short and silent. At the beginning of the conversation he seemed to know about my GAP refund from my previous car, but towards the end, he all of a sudden had no information for me. Never had an issue with any other finance personnel there though, as I have been a customer since 2019.

Oakes Kia has been great to work with since I started going there in March 2023. Recently, when my motor went out, Jarrod Bolling contacted Kia a get it replaced. I had to wait a couple of days for a response and Jarrod communicated with me until the decision was made that they would not replace the motor because it was not knocking. Before contacting my extended warranty company, Jarrod requested that the technician do every test on the motor that could be done. He then contacted my extended warranty company. He had to wait for an inspector to get to the shop to look at the motor before it could be approved for replacement. I then had to wait for a decision. In both instances, Jarrod was great at following up with Kia, with the extended warranty company and letting me know what he learned. My car was towed to the shop on January 12 and I got it back January 30. For all of that time Jarrod was in contact with me. There are other instances I could mention where exceptional service was provided, but I think it is evident why I am giving Oakes Kia five stars. It is my opinion that Jarrod went above and beyond his performance as a Service Advisor. I am so happy to have my car back and most of all, I did not have to purchase a new one. For me, that is BIG. Thank you Jarrod and Oakes Kia!!

Overall good experience with dealership. Only downfall was pushy Finance Manager that told me Kia offers 3 years, 36000 miles B2B warranty - not accurate. I had to tell her no 10 times that I wasn’t interested in an extended warranty & then she wanted me to explain why. Not professional.

We worked with Bailey Boggs to purchase my first ever brand new car - a snazzy 2026 Kia Sorento Hybrid. We had visited a couple other dealerships to narrow down our preferred make/model. Oakes Kia had a large inventory that allowed us to mix/match features until we found the right fit. I'm a methodical person who takes time to compare things and process big decisions - so I really appreciated that Bailey never made us feel rushed or pressured. She took the time to explain everything in detail and make sure we were comfortable with our decisions (vehicle, cost, financing options, etc.). She even helped keep my tag-along toddler entertained. You may not get the flashy, luxurious feel that other Kia dealerships may have - but you will get great customer service, professional and polite staff, and honest answers.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. We didn’t have an appointment and when greeted by Travis he inquired as to whom our appointment was with, do we need one we asked and he said nope let’s see what we can do for you. I had done a ton of research and knew what I did and didn’t want. He listened made suggestions and showed us a few different options. We decided on the Sorento. Go see Travis he listens and is very knowledgeable about his inventory and isn’t out to make $$ off of you, he keeps your best interest in mind during your whole visit! We went to another dealership looking for a deal on a car, we were going to go with a telluride (over what we wanted to pay) and then we had a call from a salesman called dominic, he wanted to get us a better deal and found us one that fit perfectly in our regime AND fit our rubric. The finance manager- lyric, had found us a deal on a warranty that had saved us tons of money and kept it right around what we wanted to pay a month. The new car came with a full tank of gas, added features, and it was detailed/cleaned before we were sent home. This place has also helped out our family by helping repair a blown engine on a car under a good warranty. Would recommend, this was a great experience and they managed to do all of this within an hour.

Oakes Kia has been great to work with since I started going there in March 2023. Recently, when my motor went out, Jarrod Bolling contacted Kia a get it replaced. I had to wait a couple of days for a response and Jarrod communicated with me until the decision was made that they would not replace the motor because it was not knocking. Before contacting my extended warranty company, Jarrod requested that the technician do every test on the motor that could be done. He then contacted my extended warranty company. He had to wait for an inspector to get to the shop to look at the motor before it could be approved for replacement. I then had to wait for a decision. In both instances, Jarrod was great at following up with Kia, with the extended warranty company and letting me know what he learned. My car was towed to the shop on January 12 and I got it back January 30. For all of that time Jarrod was in contact with me. There are other instances I could mention where exceptional service was provided, but I think it is evident why I am giving Oakes Kia five stars. It is my opinion that Jarrod went above and beyond his performance as a Service Advisor. I am so happy to have my car back and most of all, I did not have to purchase a new one. For me, that is BIG. Thank you Jarrod and Oakes Kia!!

Overall good experience with dealership. Only downfall was pushy Finance Manager that told me Kia offers 3 years, 36000 miles B2B warranty - not accurate. I had to tell her no 10 times that I wasn’t interested in an extended warranty & then she wanted me to explain why. Not professional.

We worked with Bailey Boggs to purchase my first ever brand new car - a snazzy 2026 Kia Sorento Hybrid. We had visited a couple other dealerships to narrow down our preferred make/model. Oakes Kia had a large inventory that allowed us to mix/match features until we found the right fit. I'm a methodical person who takes time to compare things and process big decisions - so I really appreciated that Bailey never made us feel rushed or pressured. She took the time to explain everything in detail and make sure we were comfortable with our decisions (vehicle, cost, financing options, etc.). She even helped keep my tag-along toddler entertained. You may not get the flashy, luxurious feel that other Kia dealerships may have - but you will get great customer service, professional and polite staff, and honest answers.

We were greeted right off the bat and shown where we needed to with whom our appointment was with. Very nice people and very helpful. We were treated great.

I have had nothing but great experiences at Oakes Kia! My salesperson offered to 3D print a cover for the start/stop button so my cat doesn't step on it, and the finance manager was very helpful and thorough in explaining all of my options to me!

This was by far the best experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. We didn’t have an appointment and when greeted by Travis he inquired as to whom our appointment was with, do we need one we asked and he said nope let’s see what we can do for you. I had done a ton of research and knew what I did and didn’t want. He listened made suggestions and showed us a few different options. We decided on the Sorento. Go see Travis he listens and is very knowledgeable about his inventory and isn’t out to make $$ off of you, he keeps your best interest in mind during your whole visit! We finished our visit with Karen in financing and she knows her job and does everything she can to help you protect your investment. Thanks Oakes KIA for being a first class establishment!!
