I was looking around my home state for a specific Tesla Y and ended up having to look online nationally. We found the exact car we were looking for in two states and after deciding to go with the first location in Maryland I called to let Oakes Kia know that I wouldn’t be purchasing their vehicle. The salesperson Lorraine, was so pleasant, and asked me to give her a chance to win my business. Lorraine was the difference and I decided to make the purchase. Obviously, across state purchases are worrisome, but she stayed in constant contact, took photos and kept me posted when the pick up was made, when my docs were sent and until I received the car. I couldn’t be more satisfied by her and the rest of the team. I never post reviews, so this was well deserved. They deserve a big thank you for this experience and the Tesla was flawless. Great job Lorraine. Thank you to all of your team.

I was not expecting much coming to Oakes Kia after other experiences with other KIA dealerships.... I was honestly shocked that Oakes was so good with customer service. We have really been looking for a good, trustworthy dealership that actually listens to their customers. We searched multiple states and areas for about 2 months and almost gave up until we walked into Oakes. Our salesman, Theo Hart was extremely patient, kind, professional, and attentive! He actually paid attention to what we asked for, which if you've been on any car lots recently- is exceedingly rare! He was not pushy with anything, had a great attitude, and gave us a fair deal. They even stayed late on a Saturday night to make the deal with us. We arent anywhere near the easiest customers to sell a car to and I really did appreciate the smooth car buying experience here. Their entire sales team is very kind, friendly, and professional. Can't go wrong buying with Oakes, I didn't find anyone else better than them in the KIA brand. We look forward to more positive experiences in the future with them and hope to purchase again in the future. I sincerely hope that if anyone is looking to purchase a KIA, you consider Oakes at the top of your list.

Oakes Kia made the process super easy from start to finish. I called to ask about financing, and the person who answered the phone was extremely helpful — they answered all my questions and quickly got me scheduled for a test drive. Shortly after, I received a message from Dashon Adams introducing himself as the person who would be meeting me and my wife, which immediately set our minds at ease. Dashon even went out of his way to send us a personalized video of the car before our appointment, giving us a better feel for it ahead of time. When we showed up for the test drive, my wife — who normally dreads the car buying process — said, “I hate the car buying process.” I told her, “Let’s just see what happens.” Thankfully, Dashon made the experience better than we could have hoped for. He took the time to walk us through the different features between trim levels, explained the cost differences clearly, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. We ended up driving three different cars, and by the end of it, my wife found her perfect fit — a brand new Sportage SX-Prestige Hybrid! After the test drive, we worked with Ramzi Alamawi, the finance manager, who was equally amazing. He made the financing process smooth and stress-free, thoroughly explaining the options and ensuring we felt comfortable with the terms. His professionalism and knowledge really put us at ease, and we never felt overwhelmed or confused. What a wonderful car buying experience. I was able to negotiate the night previous and come in early the next day. I spent less than an hour in the dealership and am walking away with a beautiful Subaru that my family will love for the long term. I had a fantastic experience buying from Oakes Kia. I had picked out a 2023 Tesla Model Y Long Range that I saw online. When I got to the dealership, Gavin, my salesperson, had the car ready for me to test drive right away. The price they gave me at the dealership was exactly what they had told me on the phone when I called beforehand. There were no ticky tack fees that used car dealerships are known for. We signed all the paperwork and were on our way. If you need a Kia or any used car then Gavin is your man!

I made the drive from Columbia Missouri all the way to north KC to get my new Kia. I had been disappointed with the Kia brand because my local dealer sales and service teams have been disappointing... But what a refreshing surprise it was to work with Oakes Kia and Dom Taibi. From the get-go I told him my price point. And my family wants and needs. Dom put the work for us and worked for me. Not for a bonus, not for a dealer. For my price point and my needs. His knowledge of the product and the financial tools available to us was fantastic and him and his team came through with a great offer. We went to another dealership looking for a deal on a car, we were going to go with a telluride (over what we wanted to pay) and then we had a call from a salesman called dominic, he wanted to get us a better deal and found us one that fit perfectly in our regime AND fit our rubric. The finance manager- lyric, had found us a deal on a warranty that had saved us tons of money and kept it right around what we wanted to pay a month. The new car came with a full tank of gas, added features, and it was detailed/cleaned before we were sent home. This place has also helped out our family by helping repair a blown engine on a car under a good warranty. Would recommend, this was a great experience and they managed to do all of this within an hour.

Jonah was great to work with! Made the deal quickly and I was able to get what I wanted. Not as impressed with Chris, though, as he completely changed his attitude towards me when I didn’t purchase the extended warranty. I had told him I was already part of Oakes VIP, that I didn’t want the extended, he went ahead and laid it all out for me, which I appreciated, but in the end I wasn’t going to increase my payment over $100 a month for a glorified GPS and roadside, which I already have. He seemed to become frustrated after declining and he became short and silent. At the beginning of the conversation he seemed to know about my GAP refund from my previous car, but towards the end, he all of a sudden had no information for me. Never had an issue with any other finance personnel there though, as I have been a customer since 2019.

Oakes Kia has been great to work with since I started going there in March 2023. Recently, when my motor went out, Jarrod Bolling contacted Kia a get it replaced. I had to wait a couple of days for a response and Jarrod communicated with me until the decision was made that they would not replace the motor because it was not knocking. Before contacting my extended warranty company, Jarrod requested that the technician do every test on the motor that could be done. He then contacted my extended warranty company. He had to wait for an inspector to get to the shop to look at the motor before it could be approved for replacement. I then had to wait for a decision. In both instances, Jarrod was great at following up with Kia, with the extended warranty company and letting me know what he learned. My car was towed to the shop on January 12 and I got it back January 30. For all of that time Jarrod was in contact with me. There are other instances I could mention where exceptional service was provided, but I think it is evident why I am giving Oakes Kia five stars. It is my opinion that Jarrod went above and beyond his performance as a Service Advisor. I am so happy to have my car back and most of all, I did not have to purchase a new one. For me, that is BIG. Thank you Jarrod and Oakes Kia!!

Overall good experience with dealership. Only downfall was pushy Finance Manager that told me Kia offers 3 years, 36000 miles B2B warranty - not accurate. I had to tell her no 10 times that I wasn’t interested in an extended warranty & then she wanted me to explain why. Not professional.

We worked with Bailey Boggs to purchase my first ever brand new car - a snazzy 2026 Kia Sorento Hybrid. We had visited a couple other dealerships to narrow down our preferred make/model. Oakes Kia had a large inventory that allowed us to mix/match features until we found the right fit. I'm a methodical person who takes time to compare things and process big decisions - so I really appreciated that Bailey never made us feel rushed or pressured. She took the time to explain everything in detail and make sure we were comfortable with our decisions (vehicle, cost, financing options, etc.). She even helped keep my tag-along toddler entertained. You may not get the flashy, luxurious feel that other Kia dealerships may have - but you will get great customer service, professional and polite staff, and honest answers.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. We didn’t have an appointment and when greeted by Travis he inquired as to whom our appointment was with, do we need one we asked and he said nope let’s see what we can do for you. I had done a ton of research and knew what I did and didn’t want. He listened made suggestions and showed us a few different options. We decided on the Sorento. Go see Travis he listens and is very knowledgeable about his inventory and isn’t out to make $$ off of you, he keeps your best interest in mind during your whole visit! We finished our visit with Karen in financing and she knows her job and does everything she can to help you protect your investment. Thanks Oakes KIA for being a first class establishment!!

We went to another dealership looking for a deal on a car, we were going to go with a telluride (over what we wanted to pay) and then we had a call from a salesman called dominic, he wanted to get us a better deal and found us one that fit perfectly in our regime AND fit our rubric. The finance manager- lyric, had found us a deal on a warranty that had saved us tons of money and kept it right around what we wanted to pay a month. The new car came with a full tank of gas, added features, and it was detailed/cleaned before we were sent home. This place has also helped out our family by helping repair a blown engine on a car under a good warranty. Would recommend, this was a great experience and they managed to do all of this within an hour.

Before contacting my extended warranty company, Jarrod requested that the technician do every test on the motor that could be done. He then contacted my extended warranty company. He had to wait for an inspector to get to the shop to look at the motor before it could be approved for replacement. I then had to wait for a decision. In both instances, Jarrod was great at following up with Kia, with the extended warranty company and letting me know what he learned. My car was towed to the shop on January 12 and I got it back January 30. For all of that time Jarrod was in contact with me. There are other instances I could mention where exceptional service was provided, but I think it is evident why I am giving Oakes Kia five stars. It is my opinion that Jarrod went above and beyond his performance as a Service Advisor. I am so happy to have my car back and most of all, I did not have to purchase a new one. For me, that is BIG. Thank you Jarrod and Oakes Kia!!

Overall good experience with dealership. Only downfall was pushy Finance Manager that told me Kia offers 3 years, 36000 miles B2B warranty - not accurate. I had to tell her no 10 times that I wasn’t interested in an extended warranty & then she wanted me to explain why. Not professional.

We worked with Bailey Boggs to purchase my first ever brand new car - a snazzy 2026 Kia Sorento Hybrid. We had visited a couple other dealerships to narrow down our preferred make/model. Oakes Kia had a large inventory that allowed us to mix/match features until we found the right fit. I'm a methodical person who takes time to compare things and process big decisions - so I really appreciated that Bailey never made us feel rushed or pressured. She took the time to explain everything in detail and make sure we were comfortable with our decisions (vehicle, cost, financing options, etc.). She even helped keep my tag-along toddler entertained. You may not get the flashy, luxurious feel that other Kia dealerships may have - but you will get great customer service, professional and polite staff, and honest answers.

I have had nothing but great experiences at Oakes Kia! My salesperson offered to 3D print a cover for the start/stop button so my cat doesn't step on it, and the finance manager was very helpful and thorough in explaining all of my options to me!

This was by far the best experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. We didn’t have an appointment and when greeted by Travis he inquired as to whom our appointment was with, do we need one we asked and he said nope let’s see what we can do for you. I had done a ton of research and knew what I did and didn’t want. He listened made suggestions and showed us a few different options. We decided on the Sorento. Go see Travis he listens and is very knowledgeable about his inventory and isn’t out to make $$ off of you, he keeps your best interest in mind during your whole visit! We finished our visit with Karen in financing and she knows her job and does everything she can to help you protect your investment. Thanks Oakes KIA for being a first class establishment!!
