We have been looking for a Kia Carnival since summer and have not had any luck! The last week or so we decided to venture outside of our home state of NY and found Oakes Kia! We worked with Travis and he was seriously GREAT! Very fast at responding, sending videos and pictures making our out of state purchase very easy! They also gave us the best deal out of all the 20+ dealerships we contacted ha! Highly recommend them and very pleased with the service.

Bleak powers collision center manager is one of the great people at oaks. Not only is she for the people, but she does her job the right way. She makes you feel like family more than a customer and it's easy for you to spend money when a person makes you feel like that, I don't care. We had a great experience buying our car from Oakes Kia today! We love the way they run their business - they’re one of a very small number of dealerships in the metro that pay their sales agents salaries instead of commissions, and we didn’t feel like we were pressured or like they were upselling us things we didn’t want or need. Chuck, our sales agent, was phenomenal to work with. He was so helpful, did a great job communicating, and got us exactly what we were looking for. He was just an overall nice person, which made for a lovely experience. Lyric, the finance manager, was fantastic as well. He listened to what we said and helped us find the right warranty package for our budget and needs. We’d recommend Oakes Kia!

Bailey was PHENOMENAL!!! She was very knowledgeable and didn’t have to look at a computer for every answer—she obviously has taken time to learn her “product” and be able to speak to the customer and not through a computer. Our experience at Oakes was great all around from start to finish. After inquiring online, we got prompt follow-up and scheduled a test drive. Our salesperson, Gloria, was incredible: personable and professional, knowledgeable about our models of interest and comparable makes and models, helpful and respectful of our wishes and timeline. She walked us through the vehicle and helped us set up our app. The only thing we didn’t like was the long wait we had for the final financing paperwork, but it was also the tail end of a very busy day at the dealership. After a few days, Gloria followed up to see if we needed anything, and the service department reached out to us and got us on the schedule for the first routine maintenance. I definitely recommend this dealership.

I made the drive from Columbia Missouri all the way to north KC to get my new Kia. From the get-go I told him my price point. And my family wants and needs. Dom put the work for us and worked for me. Not for a bonus, not for a dealer. For my price point and my needs. We had a really great experience buying our car. My husband is very picky, but Dominic was super patient and went above and beyond to help us get exactly the car we wanted. He even went to another dealership to get it for us, which we really appreciated. Carlos in finance was also a big help—he worked with us to get the monthly payment where we wanted it. Working with Bryan was great. He was super personable and made everything super quick and easy! I would 1000% work with Bryan again and recommend anyone I know to work with him! Lyric was very nice and knowledgeable. My only feedback is it felt like meeting with him took forever. It was already 7pm and I sat in his office for over an hour, which made me get home super late in the evening. I feel like the process definitely could be sped up.

We went to another dealership looking for a deal on a car, we were going to go with a telluride (over what we wanted to pay) and then we had a call from a salesman called dominic, he wanted to get us a better deal and found us one that fit perfectly in our regime AND fit our rubric. The finance manager- lyric, had found us a deal on a warranty that had saved us tons of money and kept it right around what we wanted to pay a month. The new car came with a full tank of gas, added features, and it was detailed/cleaned before we were sent home. This place has also helped out our family by helping repair a blown engine on a car under a good warranty. Would recommend, this was a great experience and they managed to do all of this within an hour.

Jonah was great to work with! Made the deal quickly and I was able to get what I wanted. Not as impressed with Chris, though, as he completely changed his attitude towards me when I didn’t purchase the extended warranty. I had told him I was already part of Oakes VIP, that I didn’t want the extended, he went ahead and laid it all out for me, which I appreciated, but in the end I wasn’t going to increase my payment over $100 a month for a glorified GPS and roadside, which I already have. He seemed to become frustrated after declining and he became short and silent. At the beginning of the conversation he seemed to know about my GAP refund from my previous car, but towards the end, he all of a sudden had no information for me. Never had an issue with any other finance personnel there though, as I have been a customer since 2019.

Oakes Kia has been great to work with since I started going there in March 2023. Recently, when my motor went out, Jarrod Bolling contacted Kia a get it replaced. I had to wait a couple of days for a response and Jarrod communicated with me until the decision was made that they would not replace the motor because it was not knocking. Before contacting my extended warranty company, Jarrod requested that the technician do every test on the motor that could be done. He then contacted my extended warranty company. He had to wait for an inspector to get to the shop to look at the motor before it could be approved for replacement. I then had to wait for a decision. In both instances, Jarrod was great at following up with Kia, with the extended warranty company and letting me know what he learned. My car was towed to the shop on January 12 and I got it back January 30. For all of that time Jarrod was in contact with me. There are other instances I could mention where exceptional service was provided, but I think it is evident why I am giving Oakes Kia five stars. It is my opinion that Jarrod went above and beyond his performance as a Service Advisor. I am so happy to have my car back and most of all, I did not have to purchase a new one. For me, that is BIG. Thank you Jarrod and Oakes Kia!!

Overall good experience with dealership. Only downfall was pushy Finance Manager that told me Kia offers 3 years, 36000 miles B2B warranty - not accurate. I had to tell her no 10 times that I wasn’t interested in an extended warranty & then she wanted me to explain why. Not professional.

We worked with Bailey Boggs to purchase my first ever brand new car - a snazzy 2026 Kia Sorento Hybrid. We had visited a couple other dealerships to narrow down our preferred make/model. Oakes Kia had a large inventory that allowed us to mix/match features until we found the right fit. I'm a methodical person who takes time to compare things and process big decisions - so I really appreciated that Bailey never made us feel rushed or pressured. She took the time to explain everything in detail and make sure we were comfortable with our decisions (vehicle, cost, financing options, etc.). She even helped keep my tag-along toddler entertained. You may not get the flashy, luxurious feel that other Kia dealerships may have - but you will get great customer service, professional and polite staff, and honest answers.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. We didn’t have an appointment and when greeted by Travis he inquired as to whom our appointment was with, do we need one we asked and he said nope let’s see what we can do for you. I had done a ton of research and knew what I did and didn’t want. He listened made suggestions and showed us a few different options. We decided on the Sorento. Go see Travis he listens and is very knowledgeable about his inventory and isn’t out to make $$ off of you, he keeps your best interest in mind during your whole visit! We finished our visit with Karen in financing and she knows her job and does everything she can to help you protect your investment. Thanks Oakes KIA for being a first class establishment!!

Working with Bryan was great. He was super personable and made everything super quick and easy! I would 1000% work with Bryan again and recommend anyone I know to work with him! Lyric was very nice and knowledgeable. My only feedback is it felt like meeting with him took forever. It was already 7pm and I sat in his office for over an hour, which made me get home super late in the evening. I feel like the process definitely could be sped up.

We went to another dealership looking for a deal on a car, we were going to go with a telluride (over what we wanted to pay) and then we had a call from a salesman called dominic, he wanted to get us a better deal and found us one that fit perfectly in our regime AND fit our rubric. The finance manager- lyric, had found us a deal on a warranty that had saved us tons of money and kept it right around what we wanted to pay a month. The new car came with a full tank of gas, added features, and it was detailed/cleaned before we were sent home. This place has also helped out our family by helping repair a blown engine on a car under a good warranty. Would recommend, this was a great experience and they managed to do all of this within an hour.

Jonah was great to work with! Made the deal quickly and I was able to get what I wanted. Not as impressed with Chris, though, as he completely changed his attitude towards me when I didn’t purchase the extended warranty. I had told him I was already part of Oakes VIP, that I didn’t want the extended, he went ahead and laid it all out for me, which I appreciated, but in the end I wasn’t going to increase my payment over $100 a month for a glorified GPS and roadside, which I already have. He seemed to become frustrated after declining and he became short and silent. At the beginning of the conversation he seemed to know about my GAP refund from my previous car, but towards the end, he all of a sudden had no information for me. Never had an issue with any other finance personnel there though, as I have been a customer since 2019.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. We didn’t have an appointment and when greeted by Travis he inquired as to whom our appointment was with, do we need one we asked and he said nope let’s see what we can do for you. I had done a ton of research and knew what I did and didn’t want. He listened made suggestions and showed us a few different options. We decided on the Sorento. Go see Travis he listens and is very knowledgeable about his inventory and isn’t out to make $$ off of you, he keeps your best interest in mind during your whole visit! We finished our visit with Karen in financing and she knows her job and does everything she can to help you protect your investment. Thanks Oakes KIA for being a first class establishment!!
